The Mission and the Need
Shree Shram Rastriya School is a public high school serving children aged 5 to 17 from low-income families in the city. Many of these students face significant socio-economic challenges while growing up in Nepal’s capital. To make education more accessible, the school operates in two shifts – morning and day, allowing parents who work long hours to still send their children to school.
For several years, Project Volunteer Nepal and hamromaya Nepal e.V. have been close partners of this institution, implementing long-term support programs. One of our proudest accomplishments is the Free Lunch Program, which provides nutritious daily meals for all students — a simple but powerful step to improve health, concentration, and equal opportunity.

Experience in teaching or training is desirable but not essential.
What matters most is your motivation, reliability, and readiness to engage.
